Eating Best Food in Delhi After My Coronavirus Recovery

I am sharing my personal experience with all of you. I succumbed to the Novel Coronavirus in September 2020, and I have documented my corona journey with InktheSnap. You can read my coronavirus journey here. I have recovered 100% from the coronavirus, and now, I want to tell you about my after-coronavirus journey.

First of all, it is my advice to be safe, and if you are down with the coronavirus, please take appropriate steps. It will be better for you and your family & friends. Avoid treating this disease as a meager one because it can affect your health in the long run.

Back to my story, as I was discharged by the official medical government staff of Delhi in October 2020, then also I kept myself in home isolation for a week. I wanted to analyze that the coronavirus has 10% eliminated from my body. Since I was in the quarantine period, I made a list of food items (for example, hot momos, French fries, pizza) I want to try once I’m out of isolation.

I went straight to the QDs Lajpat Nagar to relish some hot momos. This place is famous for the momos, so I wanted to try what they are famous for: I ordered vegetable momos, and seriously, they were the best momos in Delhi.

Burgers & French Fries at Burger King & McDonalds

My favorite spots to enjoy burgers & French fries are Burger King & McDonalds. These two behemoths offer delicious burgers & French fries, which I can’t resist.

There is no doubt that Jaiveer Naan & Chaap serves the best chaap in Delhi, so I thought to have my delicious lunch at Jaiveer Naan and Chaap, Paschim Vihar. There, I relished succulent Malai Chaap & Rumaali Roti and it was a great taste.

5) Add 1/4 tablespoon of baking powder and soda each into the mixture.
6) Apply butter paper on the inside of the cooker & grease it well with a little oil.

To prepare a delicious apple and grape smoothie, all you require is one whole apple, and 5-6 grapes (Red Crimson grapes). We have not used any yogurt for this recipe, instead, used vanilla ice cream to add flavor and make it thicker.

Below are the steps for a perfect smoothie:
  1. Take one whole apple (big), and 6-7 Red crimson grapes – and wash them.
  2. Cut the apple into small pieces, and then put apples and grapes simultaneously in the blender.
  3. Turn on the blender.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a glass. Add 1-1 spoon of chia seeds and vanilla ice-cream to the apple grapes smoothie in the glass. Then, add the remaining mixture into the glass.
  5. You can add 2-3 almonds as toppings.

You require 1 coconut, ½ liter milk (can be toned or double-toned), ¾ cups of sugar or crushed jaggery.

20 Minutes Sweet Coconut Ladoo Recip

  1. Take 2 cups of desiccated coconut, 1 cup of milk, and 3/4 cups of sugar/crushed jaggery into the pan.
  2. Keep the pan on the burner and switch on the flame making sure flame is low.
  3. Add cardamom powder or crushed cashew nuts. (This is an optional step; you can do or skip this step as per your preference).
  4. When the mixture begins to cook, stir it continuously.
  5. Cook until all the moisture from the mixture evaporates. The mixture should not be soggy.
  6. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes
  7. Take small parts of the mixture, press it on your palms and roll it gently making round balls.
  8. Once the balls are ready, then you can roll each of them over the desiccated coconut ensuring a fine coating on the ladoo.
